The beach is also ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Visitors can enjoy beachside shacks, cafes and food shacks in and around the beach.
Mahabaleshwara Temple is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva, dating back over a thousand years. The temple is surrounded by greenery and attracts many visitors for its intricate carvings on the walls. Visitors can take in the peaceful atmosphere and participate in the Puja rituals.
If you have more time, visit Half Moon Beach or Paradise Beach via boat from Om Beach. If you have less time, skip Mahabaleshwara Temple but add a visit to Gokarna Beach. Remember to carry sunscreen, water and comfortable shoes for the treks and walks.
