Arapaleeswarar Temple is a prominent holy site with stunning examples of Dravidian style architecture and intricate carvings dating back to the 12th century. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is nestled amidst the hills. The climb to reach the temple can be steep and tiring but is worth it to experience the ethereal beauty of the temple. The temple is open from 6 am to 12:30 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm. Once you have finished exploring the temple, you can head back to Kollimalai or make your way down to Salem depending on your time constraints.
If you have more time, you can explore other places such as the Agaya Gangai Waterfalls, Siddhar Caves, and Eriyedu Falls. If you have less time, you can skip the temple visit and instead spend more time at Kolli Hills enjoying the scenic beauty of the area. Also, make sure that your motorcycle is in excellent condition and you have all the necessary safety gear.
