Start your day with a visit to the Eravikulam National Park, home to endangered Nilgiri Tahr. It is recommended to visit early in the morning as the place tends to get crowded. For the afternoon, visit the Pothamedu Viewpoint, which offers a bird's eye view of the green valley and rolling hills around Munnar. It is an ideal place for trekking and rock climbing.
If you have more time, you can also add visits to the Echo Point, Devikulam and Munnar Town. If you have less time, remove the Pothamedu Viewpoint from your itinerary. Keep at least 30 minutes extra time in travel estimates to compensate for traffic jams during peak season in May.
