Useful Tips

If you have more time, explore Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Goa's largest and most ancient churches, temples, and convents. Visit the vibrant Panjim market, which offers everything from fashionable clothes to antique ornaments. You may avoid the monsoon season and plan your trip in the winter months from November to February. Bring sunscreen, hats, and comfortable footwear for day trips. Bargain with the vendors/shopkeepers, especially at flea markets, as the products are overpriced. Avoid carrying too much cash and valuables when exploring crowded tourist spots to avoid the risk of pick-pocketing.
