Begin your trip with a stroll along Coaker's Walk, a scenic pedestrian path that offers panoramic views of the hills and valleys. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and breathing in the fresh evening air, walking along the path watching the sunset from the hilltop. Coaker's Walk is a 1-kilometre paved pedestrian path running along the edge of steep slopes. As you walk along, there are telescopes for telescopic views of the valley below.
Start your day early with a short drive to the famous Pillar Rocks. These three vertically positioned boulders towering more than 400 feet high are a sight to behold. A small garden surrounding the pillars offers a perfect spot for photographs. The pillars are lit at night, creating a stunning view.
Guna Caves, also called the Devil's Kitchen, is a fascinating series of deep, hidden crevices and caves that are shrouded in mystery. The caves are believed to have been used by the Pandavas from the Mahabharata while on their exile. The caves are not always open to visitors during the monsoon season due to their close proximity to the nearby jungle.
End your day with some greenery and fresh air at the Bryant Park, for a perfect picnic retreat. A large Nocturnal garden showcases various species of plants that bloom only at night. The park is also home to more exotic plants and flowers such as the Kurinji flower, which blooms once every 12 years. You can rent a cycle and go for a bike ride or hire a paddle boat and explore the small lake inside the park.
If you have more time, you can also visit the Kodaikanal Lake and the Bear Shola Falls. Keep in mind that the timings of the attraction change seasonally, so make sure to double-check the opening times of the places before visiting.
