Located near Rishikesh, Neer Garh Waterfall is a picturesque and refreshing spot surrounded by lush greenery. It's a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. A trek of around 1.5 km leads to the waterfall, which offers a stunning view of the nearby mountains. Take a dip in the cool freshwater, enjoy snacks from the food stalls, and spend quality time amidst the soothing sound of the waterfall.
Start your day early and visit Gau Ghat to witness the sunrise over the Ganges river. The ghat offers a serene and quiet ambiance, making it an ideal spot for morning meditation or yoga. You can also take a dip or a boat ride on the river. After the sunrise, you can explore the nearby temples, including Trimbakeshwar Temple and Laxman Jhula.
If you have more time, you can visit the famous Har Ki Pauri ghat in Haridwar. Alternatively, you can enjoy an evening aarti (prayer) ceremony at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh. If you have less time, you can skip any of the locations or choose shorter trek routes in Rajaji National Park.
