3-Day Adventure Itinerary in Haridwar in August 2024

  1. Day 1: Rajaji National Park
    40 minutes (17.5 miles) from Haridwar

    Rajaji National Park is an adventurer's paradise located at the foothills of the Shivalik range and spanning over 820 sq km. Here, you can go on a thrilling jungle safari and spot wild elephants, tigers, leopards and more. You can also indulge in birdwatching, trekking, and camping amidst the lush greenery. The park is open for visitors from 6 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 6 pm.

  2. Day 2: River Rafting in Rishikesh
    1 hour 20 minutes (21.1 miles) from Haridwar

    Experience the thrill of river rafting on the rapids of the Ganges river in Rishikesh. You'll be guided by experienced rafters as you navigate through the tumultuous waters and enjoy the beautiful scenic views around you. The rapids range from grade 1 to 4 and you can choose the level of thrill you want based on your experience. Rafting is allowed only from 6 am to 4 pm.

  3. Day 3: Neer Garh Waterfall
    30 minutes (7.5 miles) from Haridwar

    Neer Garh Waterfall is a hidden gem amidst the mountains and greenery. It's a short trek up to the roaring waterfall and the cool splash of water is a refreshing break from the heat. The trek is easy and takes about 20 minutes from the parking area. The waterfall is open from 8 am to 5 pm and is closed on Tuesdays and during Monsoon season.
