Start the day by exploring the Fort Kochi Beach, a beautiful spot for watching the sunset. A must-visit is the St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Next stop, head to the Dutch Palace also known as Mattancherry Palace which displays a great collection of Kerala's historical heritage through its murals and artefacts. Take a break and stop by the Jew Town Market for some unique souvenirs. Conclude the day with the famous Kathakali Dance performance at a cultural centre.
Start the day by visiting the first-ever Coffee House of India and grab breakfast. Later, explore the Priyadarshini Planetarium which is a great source of information on astronomy and it’s an amazing experience for kids and adults alike. Visit one of the oldest museums in the country, Kerala Museum, to learn about the rich history of Kerala. Further, visit the Napier Museum which houses a collection of artefacts from all around the country. Finally, end the day with a stroll in the amazing Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary and spot some local flora and fauna.
Start the day with a visit to the majestic Padmanabhaswamy Temple that showcases the ancient Dravidian style architecture and rich Indian heritage. Next stop, head to the Chowara Beach and enjoy some sun, sand and sea. Later, head to the Santhigiri Ashram that offers guidance in spirituality and meditation, which truly soothes the soul. End the day with some shopping of souvenirs at the famous Chalai Market.
If you have more time, visit some other interesting sights like Mattupetty Dam and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in the city of Munnar. Additionally, the Arabian Sea offers an ever-evolving view of the landscape, which shouldn't be missed. If you have less time, while skipping the wildlife sanctuary or museums may save time, it may not provide the full experience of Kerala's culture and history.
