Start your Goa adventure in Panaji, the state capital. Take a stroll in the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas, a charming and colourful neighbourhood with Portuguese-style houses. Visit the famous 18th-century Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church and enjoy the panoramic views from Altinho Hill. Don't miss the chance to savour some typical Goan cuisine at Viva Panjim restaurant.
Get on your motorcycle and head to Mapusa, a bustling town famous for its Friday market. Explore the streets filled with stalls selling fresh produce, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Visit the serene Bodgeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and known for its beautiful carvings. If you have time, take a detour to the charming village of Aldona.
Start your day early and ride to the historic city of Margao, known as the cultural capital of Goa. Take a walk in the shaded streets, lined with Portuguese-style houses. Admire the beautiful churches, such as the Holy Spirit Church and the Church of the Mourning Virgin. Visit the famous Margao Market and savour some delicious street food. End your day by watching the sunset at Colva Beach.
On the last day of your Goa trip, ride to Ponda, known for its numerous temples. Visit the magnificent Shri Mangeshi Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and built in the 18th century. Admire the beautiful frescoes and carvings at the Safa Shahouri Mosque, dating back to the 16th century. End your trip with a scenic ride to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the beautiful beaches of North Goa, such as Baga, Anjuna, and Calangute. Don't miss the chance to try some of the famous Goan dishes, such as fish curry, vindaloo, and xacuti. If you have less time, you can skip Mapusa and head directly to Margao. Keep in mind that the monsoon season in Goa starts in June, so be prepared for rain and humidity.
