Start your trip with a bang by visiting Anjuna Beach, a popular spot for adventure seekers. In August, the monsoon season is still ongoing, and the waves are ideal for surfing. If you're a beginner, you can take surfing lessons. Alternatively, if you're already skilled at it, you can rent out surfing equipment. If you're not into surfing, you can try parasailing or banana boat rides. When you get tired, relax and sunbathe on the beautiful stretch of sand.
On your second day, head to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The falls are spectacular in August due to the heavy rainfall, and you can witness the massive cascading flow of water. If you're an adventure lover, trek uphill to reach the falls. It's a moderate trek that lasts for about an hour and a half. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, apply insect repellent, and bring a poncho. The trail can be slippery, so be careful. For your final day, visit Devil's Canyon, which is located in the forests of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. The canyon is known for its breathtaking views and challenging trekking trail. You'll get to witness the lush green surroundings of the Western Ghats and the exquisite view of the Mormugao Harbour.
If you have more time, try visiting other adventure activities in Goa, such as scuba diving, kayaking, or trekking at Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. If you have less time, you can skip Devil's Canyon and spend more time relaxing and exploring Anjuna beach. Make sure to bring enough cash, as not all places accept cards.
