The Auli Artificial Lake was built to produce snow for skiing during the winter. It provides a stunning reflection of the surrounding Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains. You can go boating and enjoy the serene beauty of the lake. Don't forget to indulge in some hot snacks sold by local vendors.
Nanda Devi National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to the Nanda Devi peak, which is the second-highest mountain in India. The park boasts of numerous species of flora and fauna, including the snow leopard and the red fox. Enjoy a guided trek to experience the natural beauty of the park.
If you have additional time, you can visit the Joshimath Temple, Trishul Peak and Kuari Pass trek. For those with a lesser amount of time, they can either skip the Nanda Devi National Park or opt for a shorter trek inside the park.
