Start your family vacation relaxing at the Baga Beach which is one of the most popular beaches in Goa, with a variety of shacks and restaurants. You can sunbathe while having a refreshing drink or swim safely with your children in the shallow waters. You can also have a walk on the sand or enjoy various water sports like banana boat rides, parasailing, and more. Spend the afternoon at the Anjuna Flea Market, known for items like jewelry, antiques, textiles and many other local handicrafts.
Begin your second day in Goa by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus which is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Baroque architecture and rich history. Then, head over to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary which is located in the foothills of the Western Ghats and known for its diverse flora & fauna. Take a walk or a guided tour through the sanctuary and see leopard cats, gaur, and more. Alternatively, join the Dudhsagar waterfall trip for an exciting jungle jeep safari, followed by a refreshing dip in the Dudhsagar waterfall.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Aguada Fort or the Chapora Fort, both of which offer stunning views of the sea and the surrounding environment. For families with children, a visit to the Snow Park in Baga or the Splashdown Water Park in Anjuna would be a great idea. If you have less time, we recommend picking one activity in the morning and one activity in the afternoon to explore Goa at a comfortable pace. Make sure to stay hydrated and carry sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses while visiting the beaches and wildlife sanctuary.
