A popular hotspot on hot summer days, Ada Ciganlija is an island in the Sava River which has been turned into a recreational area with a beach, sports facilities, and water activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding.
Public transport is a convenient and affordable option to navigate Belgrade. A single-ride ticket on a bus or tram costs 89 Serbian dinars / £0.60 per person. For families, it is recommended to purchase a family day ticket which costs 660 Serbian dinars / £4.30 and can be used by up to six people for 24 hours. If you have more time, visit the Belgrade Zoo, Tito's Mausoleum, or go on a boat ride on the Sava or Danube rivers. If you have less time, consider removing the Nikola Tesla Museum from the itinerary.
