Don't miss the new Forbidden Frontier on Adventure Island, a live interactive experience featuring challenges, clues, and surprises. In the afternoon, cool off at Cedar Point Shores Waterpark with its new and improved attractions, including a wave pool, water roller coaster, and the tallest and fastest water slide in the park. End the day with a spectacular view of Lake Erie on the Giant Wheel.
Catch the ferry to Put-in-Bay, a quaint island village located in Lake Erie. Enjoy the island's unique atmosphere by renting a golf cart or bicycle to explore. Visit Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial, a 352-foot memorial column that honors those who fought in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. Learn about the history of the island at the Put-in-Bay Maritime Museum and Lake Erie Islands Historical Society. Don't forget to relax on the island's beaches and experience the famous nightlife.
Return to Cedar Point for a second day of thrills. Ride the coasters that you missed the first day and relive your favorites. Take a lunch break at the famous Midway Market to try local Ohio favorites such as Coney dogs and freshly made funnel cakes. In the evening, catch the popular Luminosity show, a nightly celebration featuring live music, pyrotechnics, and acrobatics. End your trip on a high note with one last ride on your favorite coaster.
If you have more time, add a visit to the nearby Marblehead Lighthouse or Catawba Island State Park.
If you have less time, skip the second day at Cedar Point and spend more time exploring Put-in-Bay.
If you're traveling with kids, check out the numerous family-friendly attractions at Cedar Point and Put-in-Bay.
Remember to wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
