Dudhsagar Falls, literally meaning "sea of milk" is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in India and a popular tourist attraction. You can hike to the base of the falls and take a refreshing dip in the shallow pool that forms at the bottom. Alternatively, take a jeep safari to the falls through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.
Anjuna Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Goa, known for its booming nightlife and vibrant flea market. Spend the day lounging on the beach or take a dip in the sea. In the evening, head to one of the many beach shacks for some delicious seafood and live music.
Constructed in 1612, Fort Aguada is a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort overlooking the Arabian Sea. The fort was built to provide defence against invading enemies and remained a major military centre until 1885. Its historic significance and panoramic views make it a must-visit attraction in Goa.
If you have more time, consider visiting other beaches like Baga Beach or Calangute Beach. For history buffs, the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral are excellent sights to see. If you have less time, consider skipping Fort Aguada and spending more time at the beach. Remember to carry sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.
