Auroville is an experimental township located on the outskirts of Pondicherry. Conceived by Mirra Alfassa, it is a universal city where people from different cultures and races can live harmoniously. Visit the Matrimandir, known for its unique architecture, and take a guided tour of Auroville. There are also several workshops and boutiques where you can buy handmade products such as candles, pottery, and textiles.
