3-Day City Experience in Bangalore (May 2023)

Day 1: Downtown Exploration
  • Morning: Start the day by heading to Cubbon Park for a refreshing morning stroll. The park is teeming with greenery and has several historical landmarks worth exploring.
  • Afternoon: After lunch, visit the Bangalore Palace. The palace is a stunning work of architecture and houses numerous artefacts and paintings. Take a guided tour to learn about its interesting history.
  • Evening: End the day by checking out MG Road. This bustling street is the hub of Bangalore's nightlife and is lined with shops, restaurants and bars.
Day 2: Cultural Immersion
  • Morning: Visit Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, a 240-acre park and lung space in the heart of the city. The gardens are home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and offer an opportunity to connect with nature.
  • Afternoon: After lunch, head to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. The palace reflects the grandeur of the Mughal era and showcases the rich cultural heritage of the region.
  • Evening: End the day by attending a classical music or dance performance at the famous Ravindra Kalakshetra auditorium, located just a short distance away from the palace.
Day 3: Local Food and Shopping
  • Morning: Start the day by trying out some local breakfast specialities like masala dosa, idli, and vada at some of the city's popular eateries like MTR and CTR.
  • Afternoon: After lunch, visit Commercial Street, one of Bangalore's oldest shopping districts. This vibrant neighbourhood is home to a wide variety of shops and stores including clothing boutiques, jewellery shops and craft stores.
  • Evening: Wrap up the day by savouring some delicious street food at Food Street. Located in VV Puram, the street boasts a wide variety of spicy chaats, crispy dosas, and piping hot vadas.
