Dudhsagar waterfall is a four-tiered waterfall and one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The falls appear milky white due to the foaming water, which cascades down from a height of 310 meters. After a jeep ride and a short trek, you reach the base of the falls where you can swim in the cool, clear water. The falls are an awe-inspiring sight and make for a perfect start to your adventure in Goa.
Grand Island, located off the coast of Goa, offers some of the best adventure activities in the region. The waters around the island are perfect for snorkeling and scuba-diving. You can spot exotic marine life like clownfish, lionfish, parrotfish, and if you're lucky, even a reef shark or two! Apart from water activities, the island is also a great spot for birdwatching and hiking.
Mollem National Park is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna species, including leopards, gaurs, and different species of deer. You can explore the park on foot or a jeep safari, and witness the beautiful Dudhsagar waterfall from a different angle. The park is also home to the 13th-century Tambdi Surla temple, a beautiful ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. A visit to Mollem National Park is the perfect way to end your adventure-filled trip to Goa.
If you have more time, you can add Anjuna Beach to your itinerary for some surfing lessons or go kayaking in the tranquil backwaters of Nerul. If you have less time, you can skip Mollem National Park or reduce your time at Grand Island. Remember to carry sunscreen and a hat for your outdoor activities, and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
