For those with an extra day, we highly recommend taking a ferry to visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari. Alternatively, visit the Koodankulam nuclear power plant and museum to better understand the functioning of the contemporary nuclear plant. On the other hand, for those who have limited time, we recommend starting the trip at Kanyakumari and heading to Koonthankulam Bird Sanctuary in the evening.
