Fun Family-Friendly Tour of Isha, Valparai, Athirapally Falls, and Topslip in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Isha
    2 hours (80 miles) from Coimbatore International Airport

    Visit the Isha Yoga Centre, one of the largest yoga and meditation centres in the world. Set in scenic surroundings at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains, the centre offers a range of yoga and meditation programs, including the popular Inner Engineering program. Take a guided tour of the centre and marvel at the impressive architecture, including the 112-feet Adiyogi statue. End the day with a relaxing meditation session.

  2. Day 2: Valparai
    4 hours (120 miles) from Isha Yoga Centre

    Explore the beautiful hill station of Valparai, known for its tea and coffee plantations and wildlife reserves. Visit the Sholayar Dam, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Take a leisurely walk through the Loam’s View Point to see the gorgeous sunset. End the day with a cup of freshly brewed tea from one of the many tea estates in the area.

  3. Day 3: Athirapally Falls and Topslip
    3.5 hours (110 miles) from Valparai

    Start the day by visiting the Athirapally Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in India. Take a walk through the surrounding forests and spot some of the native wildlife, including elephants, tigers, and monkeys. After lunch, head to the Topslip Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its diverse flora and fauna. Take a jeep safari through the sanctuary and spot some of the endangered species, including the lion-tailed macaque and the Indian giant squirrel.
