Start your trip with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Old Goa. Exploring St. Augustine's Tower, a 46 m high bell tower of the ruined church, is a must-do. Next, visit the oldest and the largest of the churches in Old Goa, the Se Cathedral. The house of professed nuns, St. Francis of Assisi, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus are also worth visiting. Anjuna is known for its markets and beach. The Wednesday Flea Market is a vibrant market selling everything from spices to clothing. At this market, be ready to flex your bargaining skills. After the market, head to Anjuna Beach, which is renowned for its parties and nightlife. To unwind, consider a stroll along the serene promenade, and sample delectable food from local eateries.
If you have more time, visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls. Or, visit the spice plantations in Ponda, where you can sample locally grown spices, essential oils, and teas. For a relaxed evening, try the casinos along the river Mandovi.
If you have less time, consider visiting the Saturday Night Market in Arpora instead of the Anjuna Market. For a nature lover, a drive to the Baga Hill top and walk through the Mollem National Park is highly recommended or simply spend the day seaside at Baga Beach.
