Start your day exploring the historical marvels of Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage site home to several stunning churches and cathedrals. Don't miss the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which holds the remains of St. Francis Xavier, and the Se Cathedral with its beautiful Portuguese architecture. Take a stroll through the streets, admiring the numerous impressive buildings from the colonial period. There are also a few museums to check out if you're interested in learning more about the area's history.
Head to the popular Anjuna Beach, known for its laidback vibe, scenic beauty and multiple shacks serving delicious seafood. Take a walk along the beach, soak up the sun, or opt for water activities such as parasailing, banana boat rides or jet skiing. Don't forget to visit the Wednesday Flea Market, where you can find unique handicrafts, clothes, jewelry and souvenirs at economical prices.
End your trip with an adventure-packed day of trekking to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls located inside the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. This trek will take approximately 2-3 hours one-way, and includes a passing through rocky terrain, dense forests, and streams. Once you arrive at the waterfalls, take a dip in the refreshing waters before heading back. However, please note, the waterfall is always closed during the monsoon season (June - September).
If you have more time, head to Fort Aguada Beach Resort, Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach, all located in North Goa. However, if you find yourself with less time, you could skip the flea market or opt for a shorter trek to the Tambdi Surla Waterfall instead. Additionally, do check for updated information regarding opening and closing times as well as seasonal timings of the places you plan to visit.
