Start your Kuduremukka trek at the base camp, situated in the Western Ghats. The base camp provides basic amenities and is located amidst lush greenery. This will be the starting point for your trek. The journey will take you through a dense forest with diverse flora and fauna, including Shola Forest. Reach the summit and witness the mesmerizing view of the Arabian Sea on one side and the Western Ghats on the other. The whole trek will take around 6-7 hours
Embark on a scenic drive to Agumbe, which is also known as the Cherrapunji of South India, it is one of the wettest places in the country. Here, you will have the opportunity to trek through the rainforests and explore the biodiversity of the area. Don't forget to visit the Agumbe Sunset Point, which offers one of the most breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. The total trek will take 4-5 hours.
If you have more time, you can consider visiting nearby attractions such as Sringeri, Malpe Beach or St. Mary's Island. For adventure seekers, you can extend the trek to make it a three-day trip.
