The iconic red and white Tokyo Tower is a must-visit attraction offering one of the best panoramic views of the city. On a clear day, you can see Mount Fuji from the observation deck. The tower also has a wax museum, souvenir shops, and restaurants.
The Tsukiji Fish Market is the largest wholesale fish market in the world and a popular tourist attraction. Here, you can witness the bustling fish auctions and grab some fresh sushi for breakfast at the many restaurants in the market. Note that the market is closed on weekends and some Wednesdays.
Situated in the Asakusa district, Senso-ji is Tokyo's oldest temple and a popular spot for tourists. The temple's bright red gate, Nakamise-dori shopping street, and five-story pagoda offer great photo opportunities. You can also witness the traditional Japanese cleansing ritual and try some traditional snacks here.
If you have more time, consider visiting other popular attractions like the Tokyo Skytree, Meiji Shrine, or the Imperial Palace. If you have less time, skip the wax museum at Tokyo Tower or the shopping street at Senso-ji Temple. Note that the cherry blossom season can get crowded and booking tickets in advance is recommended for some attractions.
