Playa Delfines, also known as "Dolphin Beach", is one of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches in Cancun. With its soft white sand and clear turquoise water, it's the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. There are no restaurants or shops on this stretch of beach, so be sure to bring snacks and drinks. If you're feeling adventurous, try parasailing or rent a jet ski.
Tulum is a beautiful coastal town located about two hours south of Cancun. It's known for its ancient Mayan ruins, which sit atop a cliff overlooking the ocean. After exploring the ruins, head down to Playa Paraiso for a swim in the crystal clear water and a relaxing day on the beach. Don't leave without stopping at The Real Coconut for some delicious and healthy food.
Xel-Ha Park is a magical aquatic theme park located south of Cancun. Spend the day floating down the river in an inner tube, snorkeling in the lagoon and exploring the cenotes. There are also plenty of hammocks and beach chairs for those who want to relax and soak up the sun. Be sure to try the delicious food at one of the many restaurants in the park.
If you have an extra day, consider visiting Isla Mujeres for a more laid-back beach experience or Chichen Itza for more Mayan ruins. If you have less time, skip Tulum or Xel-Ha Park and spend another day relaxing on the beach or exploring Cancun's Hotel Zone.
