Useful Tips

With more time, visit Pookode Lake, Meenmutty Falls, and Banasura Sagar Dam. The best time to visit Wayanad is during the monsoon season from June to October. However, some attractions may be closed due to heavy rain or landslides, so double-check before visiting.

With less time, prioritize Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary before exploring Edakkal Caves and Chembra Peak. Keep some buffer time in your itinerary to accommodate unforeseen delays, as rain can lead to flooding of roads, which in turn slows down travel time.
