  1. Day 1: Mahabalipuram

    Formerly known as Pondicherry, Puducherry is a charming town that will transport you to France, with its fantastic architecture and tree-lined streets. Take a stroll along the Promenade Beach, which runs parallel to the beautiful turquoise waters of the Bay of Bengal. Don't forget to visit Auroville, an experimental community that is dedicated to sustainable living and human unity. Catch a stunning sunset at the Matri Mandir, an architectural masterpiece, which is a pure white, spherical structure.

  3. Day 2: Gateway of India
    2 hours 47 minutes (150 km) from Puducherry

    The Gateway of India, which was built to commemorate the visit of King George V to Mumbai, is an iconic landmark that you cannot miss. Take a ferry ride from the Gateway and visit Elephanta Caves, which are situated on an island. These caves are known for their incredible sculptures and carvings that date back to the 5th century.   4. Day 2: Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

    The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an incredibly designed train station that will leave you in awe. It's one of the busiest stations in Mumbai and is also known as Victoria Terminus. Take a walking tour of the station and marvel at the ornate Victorian Gothic Revival architecture. Right outside the Terminus, explore the Crawford Market, a vibrant market that has been in existence for over a century. You can enjoy mouth-watering street food in the area, too!
