Transportation

Most of the sites are reachable on foot or with public transportation, such as trams, buses, and trains. The city center is easily accessible on foot, and a tram is convenient to reach other locations. A 3 days ticket costs €17.50, and a single ticket costs €3.50. Taxis from center-city to Scheveningen cost around €25 and take about 20 minutes.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, consider visiting places outside of The Hague, such as Rotterdam or Amsterdam. If you have less time, skip the Louwman Museum and Huis ten Bosch Palace.

The Hague city is served by Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM), located approximately 19 km from downtown. Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (AMS) is the largest and most popular airport in the Netherlands and is about 50 km from The Hague. A direct train from Rotterdam The Hague Airport takes about 45 minutes to the city center and around 30-50 minutes from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport.
