  1. Day 1: Ujjain

Next, visit the Kal Bhairav Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva's destructive form, which has an impressive ancient architecture. Then head to the Chintaman Ganesh Temple, which is believed to grant wishes, and its architecture is inspired by the Malwa style. Finally, end your day by experiencing the mesmerising evening aarti ceremony at Shipra River Ghat.

  2. Day 2: Omkareshwar
    Approximately 140km, 3 hours from Ujjain

    On your second day, Visit the Omkareshwar Temple , one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, which is situated on an island in the Narmada River and can be reached by a boat. The temple is believed to have healed numerous incurable diseases in the past. Next, visit the Kajal Rani Cave, which is a beautiful natural cave with a deep pool and a breathtaking waterfall. Get an adrenaline rush by going trekking on the Satmatrika Hill, where you can witness seven ancient temples showcasing the architectural brilliance from the 9th century. End your day by enjoying the picturesque view of the Narmada River Aarti ceremony.

  3. Day 3: Return to Ahmedabad
    Approximately 260km, 5 hours from Omkareshwar

    On the last day, head back to Ahmedabad and visit the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, an iconic mosque with magnificent architecture, built-in 1573 by the Gujarat Sultanate. Next, visit the Sabarmati Ashram, the home of Mahatma Gandhi between 1917 to 1930, offers enlightenment about India's freedom struggle and Gandhiji's ideologies. Visit the magnificent Kankaria Lake, is the second largest lake in Ahmedabad, that encompasses many fun activities such as Adventure Park, Science city, Zoo, Food stalls, Boating e.t.c End your trip by indulging in the mesmerizing street food of Ahmedabad and take a small souvenir back home from the famous Lal Darwaja Market.

Useful Tips:

If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Bada Ganpati Temple and Harsiddhi Temple in Ujjain and Pench National Park in Madhya Pradesh, known for spotting tigers. If you have less time, you can skip visiting Kajal Rani cave or Satmatrika hill trek. Make sure you carry comfortable walking shoes, water bottles, sunscreen, and hats while visiting temples.
