It is surrounded by lush green forests and is best visited during the monsoon season when the falls are in full flow. You can take a train from Kulem to Dudhsagar or hire a jeep from Collem. The trek to the waterfall is about 1.5 km and is moderately difficult.
Fontainhas is a charming Latin Quarter in Panaji, with narrow lanes and colourful houses. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a must-visit for its Portuguese architecture and culture. You can take a walking tour to explore the area and visit the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. You can also try local Goan food at the nearby restaurants.
If you have more time, you can explore other beaches like Anjuna, Calangute and Candolim. You can also visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Mangueshi Temple. If you have less time, you can skip Dudhsagar Falls and spend more time relaxing on the beaches. Make sure to carry sunscreen, sunglasses and hats to protect yourself from the sun.
