Visit one of the most iconic landmarks of Phuket, the Phuket Big Buddha. The 45-metre tall statue of Buddha is made of white marble and can be seen from most of the southern part of the island. Visitors can climb up to the base of the statue and enjoy the breathtaking views of the island. There's also a smaller golden Buddha statue and a bell pavilion in the complex.
Experience the beauty of Phuket's nature at the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park. The park covers over 22 square kilometers of rainforest and is home to various animals like monkeys, gibbons, and flying squirrels, as well as the famous Ton Sai Waterfall. Visitors can hike the trails, swim in the waterfall, and enjoy a picnic in the serene surroundings.
Take a boat tour of the Phang Nga Bay and marvel at the limestone cliffs and emerald waters. The bay is home to many small islands, including the famous James Bond Island, where the movie 'The Man with the Golden Gun' was filmed. If you have more time, you can visit other beaches and islands in the area, such as Phi Phi Island or Kata Beach.
