Start your day at Lemberg's Market Square where you can find the old city hall and a lot of local street performers. The heart of Lemberg's city center, the square is rich in architectural history and is always lively with the sound of music in the air. You can also find plenty of restaurants and shops to explore your way through.
Begin your day with a visit the Museum of Galician Jews. This museum has an incredible collection of photographs, recordings, and books related to the Jewish people's lives and culture in the Galician region. It's a small museum, but the artifacts and their stories are powerful and compelling.
Lemberg is a well-connected city with an excellent public transportation system. You can use trams, buses, taxi, or car rental services to explore different parts of the city. A day pass for public transport costs around 18 PLN, and Uber fares will cost around 20-30 PLN per ride.
If you have more time, you can visit Historical Museum of Krakow, or the Music Academy of Lemberg. For a more cultural experience, you can visit Saint George's Church, and Saint Anne's Church. If you have less time, eliminate one of the locations in the itinerary and take more time to enjoy each attraction thoroughly.
Lemberg's international airport is Lviv International Airport (LWO). It's located about 6 miles (10km) south-west of the city center. The airport has all the facilities required by the modern traveler like ATMs, restaurants, duty-free shops, and rental car services.
