Doctor's Cave Beach is a beautiful stretch of white sand and turquoise water. This beach is famous for its clear, calm waters that are said to have healing properties. Relax on the beach or rent a paddleboard for some exercise. Don't forget to try the local jerk chicken from one of the beachside restaurants.
Take a tour of the Rose Hall Great House, a historic mansion that was once the home of a wealthy plantation owner. This house is said to be haunted by the ghost of its former owner, the White Witch of Rose Hall. Learn about the house's history and see the beautiful architecture and decor.
Getting around Montego Bay is easy with taxis and buses readily available. Taxis are the most convenient option, but can be more expensive. Expect to pay around $30 for a round-trip taxi ride from the airport to the Hip Strip.
If you have extra time, consider visiting the nearby Dunn's River Falls or taking a boat tour of the surrounding waters. If you have less time, consider skipping Rose Hall Great House or shortening the time spent at each location.
