  1. Day 1: Mughal Gardens

    Mughal Gardens is a group of gardens built by Mughal emperors with Persian influences. Visit the Shalimar and Nishat Bagh gardens for their symmetry and stunning fountains. Time your visit to catch the light and sound show at Shalimar Bagh.

  2. Day 2: Dal Lake
    30 minutes (8.5 km) from Mughal Gardens

    Dal Lake is a must-visit attraction in Srinagar. Take a shikara ride to see the floating gardens, houseboats, and the Hazratbal Shrine. For a more authentic experience, stay in a houseboat overnight and wake up to a stunning view of the lake.

  3. Day 3: Pari Mahal
    40 minutes (12 km) from Dal Lake

    Pari Mahal is a seven-terraced garden offering breathtaking views of the city. Once a Buddhist monastery, it was later converted into a school of astrology by Dara Shikoh. Visit in the evening to see the city lights come alive.

  4. Day 4: Shankaracharya Temple

    Dachigam National Park is a wildlife sanctuary home to the endangered Hangul deer and other species like the Himalayan black bear, leopard, and musk deer. Take a guided safari to spot the wildlife and enjoy the scenic views of the park.
