  1. 8:00AM: Chembra Peak
    20 minutes (8.5km) from Kalpetta

    Begin your day early and head to Chembra Peak - the highest peak in Wayanad. It is a 3 km trek to the top, which takes approximately 3-4 hours. The trek is steep and exhilarating, and the view from the top is breathtaking. Don't forget to carry enough water and snacks.

  2. 12:00PM: Pookode Lake
    1 hour 20 minutes (29.5km) from Chembra Peak

    After a tiring trek, unwind at Pookode Lake, an idyllic freshwater lake surrounded by lush greenery. You can go for a pedal boat ride or a leisurely walk around the lake. The lake is home to a variety of fish and birds, making it a great spot for nature lovers.

  3. 2:00PM: Edakkal Caves
    1 hour (28km) from Pookode Lake

    Edakkal Caves are ancient rock caves located on Ambukuthi Hills. The caves contain several prehistoric carvings and paintings, which are believed to be over 8,000 years old. It is a 1 km trek to the top, which takes around 45 minutes. The view from the top is worth the climb.

  4. 4:00PM: Kuruva Island
    1 hour 30 minutes (35km) from Edakkal Caves

    End your day at Kuruva Island - a group of small islands located on the Kabini River. The island is home to several species of flora and fauna and is a great spot for birdwatching, trekking, and bamboo rafting.
