  • Day 1: Naples - Sorrento

Transportation

The local transportation system within the Amalfi Coast is quite efficient, with regular and extensive services. A seven-day travel pass costs approximately €30-40. Useful tips

If you have extra time, you can explore more serene towns on the Amalfi Coast, such as Maiori, Minori, or Vietri sul Mare. You can also take a ferry to explore the Islands of Ischia and Procida. Keep in mind that the towns can be crowded in July and August, so it's best to visit in the shoulder seasons, April to June and September to October.

Airports

The main airport for the Amalfi Coast region is Naples International Airport (NAP) or Capodichino Airport. It's approximately 31 miles from the center of the city, and it takes around 50 minutes to travel by car.
