    The Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary is located on the western tip of Chorao Island and is named after the famous Indian ornithologist. The sanctuary is home to various species of birds like eagles, kingfishers and herons. You can take a boat ride through the mangroves to see the birds up close. The sanctuary is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and the entry fee is INR 20 per person.

  5. Day 2: Shop at Anjuna Flea Market
    20 minutes (9.5 km) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    The Anjuna Flea Market is held every Wednesday and is a must-visit for all shopaholics. You can find various items like clothes, jewellery, souvenirs and handicrafts here. You can also enjoy some local food and drinks at the food stalls. The market is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
