Start your adventure by exploring Willamette National Forest, home to the famous Three Sisters volcanic peaks. Get a chance to hike through the lush forest, visit the serene waterfalls and enjoy the amazing vista of mountains. This area is great for recreational activities like camping, fishing, and rafting. If you are visiting during winter, pack your snowshoes to explore the snow-covered trails. Don't forget to bring your binoculars to spot some of the unique wildlife that calls this area home.
On your second day, head over to Oregon Coast Aquarium located in Newport, Oregon, home to a variety of sea creatures, including sea otters, sea lions, sharks, and different types of fish. You can watch the animals being fed, learn about conservation efforts, and even touch some of the creatures in the aquarium's touch tanks. The aquarium also offers different tours such as Behind the Scenes and Sleep With the Sharks. Before leaving, visit Yaquina Bay Lighthouse located nearby to get a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean.
