Transportation

Driving is the best way to get around Lofoten Islands. Renting a car costs around 1500 NOK per day. The public transportation system is not very frequent, especially outside of peak season, and some of the best attractions require a car to get to.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, consider adding a visit to the Lofoten War Memorial Museum, taking a boat trip to the Moskenesøy Island, or going on a whale watching tour. If you have less time, you can skip some of the attractions, but we recommend prioritizing the ones that interest you the most.
