Start your day by exploring the historical Fort Kochi area. Visit the famous Chinese Fishing Nets at the shore of the Arabian sea and learn about its history and how it operates. Head to St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, which was originally built in 1503 and see the beautiful architecture. Walkthrough the Jew Town and visit the beautiful Paradesi Synagogue which is one of the oldest functioning synagogues in the world. On day two, visit the scenic Marine Drive, a 3 km long promenade facing the backwaters of Kochi. Take a boat ride in the backwaters and enjoy the breathtaking views of the city's skyline. Head to Mattancherry and visit the Dutch Palace, also known as Mattancherry Palace. It is a beautiful palace built by the Portuguese in 1555 and later renovated by the Dutch.
