Getting around Ketchikan is very simple. The city is small and passengers can easily walk to Todd Communications, the downtown area or to the cruise ship docks. However, the city center can sometimes be a little hilly for those with limited mobility. The floatplane tour and totem park require transport which will be arranged by them upon confirmation of the tour. All-day parking is available at several locations throughout town at around $3-4 per day.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, we suggest taking a walk to the nearby Deer Mountain Fish Hatchery or plan a visit to the Saxman Native Village. If you have less time, you could skip the floatplane tour and spend more time exploring Ketchikan or add a visit to the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show.
