Honeymoon Itinerary for Kashmir and Delhi in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Kashmir
    1 hour flight from Delhi to Srinagar
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Srinagar International Airport

    Upon arrival at Srinagar International Airport, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel on a traditional Shikara boat ride in Dal Lake. You can spend the rest of the day taking a leisurely walk in the Mughal Gardens, which are a group of gardens built by the Mughals in the Persian style of architecture.

  2. Day 2: Pahalgam
    2.5 hours (87 miles) from Srinagar to Pahalgam

    Today, we will leave for Pahalgam, which is often referred to as the "Valley of Shepherds". You can have an enjoyable horse ride to Baisaran and enjoy the scenic views of the Lidder Valley. Later in the day, visit the beautiful Aru Valley and the Betaab Valley, which are known for their stunning landscapes.

  3. Day 3: Gulmarg
    2 hours (34 miles) from Pahalgam to Gulmarg

    Today, we will drive to the "Meadow of Flowers" - Gulmarg, which is a popular skiing destination in India. Take the cable car ride to Khilanmarg, which provides excellent views of the Nanga Parbat and other Himalayan peaks. You can also indulge in some skiing, snowboarding, or sledging activities in the snow-clad slopes of Gulmarg.

  4. Day 4: Delhi
    1.5 hours flight from Srinagar to Delhi
    1 hour (12 miles) from Indira Gandhi International Airport to Qutub Minar

    Today, we will fly to Delhi, which is the capital city of India. Our first stop in Delhi will be the Qutub Minar, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world. You can also visit the nearby Lotus Temple, which is famous for its unique lotus-shaped architecture and serene surroundings. In the evening, explore the colorful markets of Chandni Chowk, which are famous for their street food and traditional handicrafts.

  5. Day 5: Agra and Departure
    2.5 hours (124 miles) from Delhi to Agra
    3 hours (140 miles) from Agra to Indira Gandhi International Airport

    Today, we will leave early in the morning for Agra, which is home to the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You can also visit the Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the erstwhile residence of the Mughal emperors. In the evening, we will drive back to Delhi to catch the flight back home.
