Today, you will start your Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra. The journey starts with a 13 km trek from Katra to the Bhawan, which takes about 4-5 hours. You can choose to trek or take a helicopter ride to reach the Bhawan. Once you reach the Bhawan, you can seek blessings from the goddess and explore the surrounding areas. We recommend having the prasad and visiting the Bhairavnath Temple before heading back to Katra.
Today, you will visit Shiv Khori and Baba Dhansar. Shiv Khori is a cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in the Reasi district. The cave is around 150 meters long and 1 meter wide and has a naturally formed shivling. Baba Dhansar is a beautiful waterfall and a popular picnic spot. You can also visit the ancient Shiva temple located near the waterfall.
Today, you will visit Patnitop, a hill station located in the Udhampur district. The place is known for its natural beauty and adventure activities. You can enjoy trekking, paragliding, and skiing here. You can also visit the Nag Temple and the famous 600-year-old Naag Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Snake God.
