The Jata Shankar Caves are a complex of 7 natural caves developed into a Hindu shrine located in a deep ravine with huge rocky boulders, stalactite and stalagmite formations. The cave is associated with Lord Shiva and the natural shivling found here is worshipped by many devotees.
Located on a hill near Pachmarhi, the Pandav Caves are believed to have been the abode of the Pandavas during their exile. The five caves here are carved out of sandstone with a few paintings and sculptures inside them.
Bee Falls, also known as Jamuna Prapat, is a scenic waterfall nestled in the Satpura range of hills. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, and it's the perfect spot to relax, take a dip in the water, or just enjoy the sound of the cascading water.
The Mahadeo Hill is a popular scenic point located in the Satpura range. It's known for its stunning views of the surrounding hills, valleys and forests. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva at the top of the hill and a few viewpoints along the trekking route.
Handi Khoh is a natural canyon located in the Satpura range. The canyon is around 300 feet deep and 100 feet wide with steep walls, moss-covered rocks, and a small waterfall. The view of the valley from the top is breathtaking, and it's a great place for photography.

The cost for hiring a car or taxi for two days is around ₹2500-₹3000 depending on the type of vehicle. The travel time between each point of interest is around 10-20 minutes, and the distance is around 4-8 km, depending on the location.
If you have more time, you can visit other places like Dhoopgarh, Reechgarh or Bison Lodge Museum. If you have less time, you can skip Bee Falls and go straight to Mahadeo Hills. It's also recommended to carry some snacks and drinking water during the trip as there are limited options available near the attractions.
Raja Bhoj Airport (BHO) is the nearest airport to Pachmarhi, located in Bhopal, around 200 km away. There are regular flights to Bhopal from major cities in India like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore. From Bhopal, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Pachmarhi. It takes around 4-5 hours to travel from Bhopal to Pachmarhi by road.
