Start your adventure in Wayanad by visiting the famous Edakkal Caves. These caves are located on top of a hill and require a moderate amount of hiking to reach. Inside the caves, you'll find ancient petroglyphs that date back to the Neolithic era. The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking, and you can see the entire Wayanad region from there.
For Day 2, get ready for a challenging hike up to the top of Chembra Peak. It's the highest peak in Wayanad and offers a panoramic view of the entire region. The hike takes around 5-6 hours and requires a guide. Along the way, you'll see beautiful flora and fauna, including rare species of birds and butterflies. Don't forget to pack plenty of water and snacks for the trek.
On your final day in Wayanad, visit the stunning Soochipara Waterfalls. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green forests and is an ideal location for adventure activities like rock climbing and rappelling. You can also take a dip in the natural pool created by the waterfall. The drive to the waterfall is also scenic, and you'll see tea and spice plantations along the way.
