  1. Day 1: Edakkal Caves
    30 minutes (12.5 km) from Kalpetta town

    Explore the ancient Edakkal Caves which are etched with prehistoric carvings and paintings. A steep hike through dense forests leads to these caves, which offer a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding valley. Do note that the caves are open only from 9:30am to 4:30pm and are closed on Mondays.

  2. Day 2: Banasura Sagar Dam
    1 hour 20 minutes (37 km) from Edakkal Caves

    The Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest earth dam in India and is surrounded by lush green hills that offer a scenic background to the tranquil waters. One can opt for a speedboat ride or indulge in various water sports activities. The dam is open from 9am to 5pm on all days.

  3. Day 3: Chembra Peak
    1 hour 15 minutes (30 km) from Banasura Sagar Dam

    Embark on a trek to the highest peak in Wayanad, the Chembra Peak, which stands tall at 2,100 meters. The trek is of moderate difficulty and takes around 5 hours to complete. The highlight of the trek is the heart-shaped lake which is located towards the peak. Do note that prior permission from the forest department is required for the trek.

  4. Day 4: Pookode Lake
    1 hour 20 minutes (38 km) from Chembra Peak

    The Pookode Lake is a serene freshwater lake surrounded by dense forests and hills. One can take a leisurely boat ride or indulge in various activities like boating, fishing, and bird watching. It is open from 9am to 5pm on all days except for Mondays.
