Trondheim has a reliable public transportation system that includes buses and trams. A single ticket costs 36 NOK and is valid for 1 hour. Taxis and rental cars are also available, but they can be quite expensive. Walking and biking are great alternatives for those who want to explore the city at a leisurely pace.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Archbishop's Palace Museum, the Sverresborg Trøndelag Folk Museum or taking a scenic hike in Bymarka Nature Reserve. To move faster between locations, rent a bike or hop on a tram. If you have less time, skip Ringve Museum and/or the Trondheim Art Museum. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes and a camera as there are plenty of photo opportunities.
