Start your adventure with a trek to the highest peak in Wayanad, Chembra Peak. The trek to the top is about 4.5km and takes around 3-4 hours, but the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the heart-shaped lake at the top make it all worth it. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the trek, and wear comfortable shoes and clothes. The trek is open from 7 am to 2 pm and closed during monsoon season, so plan accordingly.
Spend your second day exploring the beautiful Kuruva Island with a bamboo rafting adventure. The island is a cluster of small islands surrounded by streams and rivers, and the 2-hour rafting experience takes you through the serene waters while you soak in the stunning scenery. Keep an eye out for rare bird species and other wildlife that inhabit the island. The rafting experience is open from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and closed during monsoon season.
