A day filled with nature and wildlife begins with Soochipara Falls, a three-tiered waterfall cascading down from a height of 200 meters. It’s a 30-minute trek from the parking area to the waterfall. After lunch, head to Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to elephants, tigers, leopards, and various bird species. You can book a jeep safari through the forest department (the safari timings are from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM).
Start your day with a visit to Edakkal Caves, where you can witness pre-historic carvings and paintings. You will need to trek for 1 km to reach the caves. After lunch, head to Pookode Lake, where you can enjoy boating and relax in nature. End your day with the sunset and a bonfire at the lake.
