3-Day Itinerary for Vayanaadu

1. Day 1: Banasura Sagar Dam
   30 minutes (12.5 miles) from Kalpetta

   Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest earth dam in India and a popular tourist destination. Visitors can enjoy boating and trekking here. The surrounding mountains add to the beauty of the place.

2. Day 2: Edakkal Caves
   1 hour 10 minutes (25.5 miles) from Banasura Sagar Dam

   Edakkal Caves are two natural caves located on top of Ambukutty Mala. These prehistoric caves have carvings that are believed to be over 8000 years old. The climb to the top is steep, but the view from the summit is worth it.

3. Day 3: Chembra Peak
   1 hour 15 minutes (28 miles) from Edakkal Caves

   Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad and a favourite spot for trekkers. A heart-shaped lake on the peak adds to the charm of the place. The trek to the peak is a bit difficult, but the view from the top is breathtaking.
